A FUCKING LEATHER TEE SHIRT?!

That is exactly what this is. And no, I couldn't believe it either, but 'tis true. Diane von Furstenberg has outdone herself with this one. I'm so excited I can't even think/type straight! It literally took me 82354031975 attempts to type this short little paragraph!

Saks describes this as "Your favorite tee look- this time in smooth leather and finely tailored with gathered sleeves and chest patch pocket." 100% Italian lamb leather, with silk/lycra lining so you don't sweat your tits off. I'm not sure how I feel about wearing leather that isn't a jacket or boots, but judging from the photos it looks supple and soft, comfortable and breathable enough to be a jersey. I'd so be willing to try this.

In other news, I'm driving up (or is it over?) to Michigan tomorrow to train for my internship. At Kohl's, which should be interesting. I'm rather excited of the fact that not only is this internship paid, (and paid A LOT) but I get to do some traveling. More updates to follow on my journey into adulthood.

*So this gets labeled as a WTF but this time in a good way.

  1. OoOoOo, I'm intrigued...I mean if shirts can be suede, I guess they can be leather, right?

  3. what? i wouldn't even imagine that making a tee from leather was possible. i bet it's a super fine leather, but i'd only wear it over winter. it looks super soft and delicate though... and the color is just the perfect neutral.

  4. I've seen leather tees in COS (the H&M sister) but I had no idea DVF had some as well. The lining probably does make it easier to wear, but I'd still think it's a hassle to have to take that to the dry cleaner every time you've worn it... Good look with your internship!

  5. You're kidding?!? This doesn't look leather at all. I was planning a trip to bloomingdales this weekend (credit cards beware) I hope they have it, because I would love to see it in person and touch it (and maybe try it on). I don't think I'd want a leather tshirt, but I sure as heck would be interested in seeing it in person and trying to figure it out.
